INSULAIRR® Silver Lightning is a high temperature thermal barrier coating charged with the advanced “Silver Lightning Technology”. The coating is designed to be coated on steel shells of furnaces, kilns, ladles, hot air & gas ducting systems and can even be applied on ceramic rigid insulation for energy saving by greatly reducing heat losses.
INSULAIRR® Silver Lightning is manufactured using a proprietary blend of materials and then charged by the “Silver Lightning Technology” which activates the Heat Radiation quality of the coating. It has high surface emissivity which blocks heat losses even with a low product mass.
INSULAIRR® Silver Lightning blocks radiation heat losses which result in higher thermal efficiencies in Furnaces, Kilns, Ducts, Ladles and other high temperature applications. At high temperatures, radiation heat losses are greater. Refractories & Ceramic Fiber insulation are good heat insulators for conduction & convection, however they do not arrest radiant heat losses. To achieve maximum thermal efficiency a radiant heat barrier is required- this is why INSULAIRR® Silver Lightning was developed after years of research, development and field trials.
